To arrive at this verdict, iVerify Malawi critically analysed the information on the cover against the cover that Times Group posted on its Facebook Page. iVerify Malawi also looked at the physical copy of The Daily Times of Monday, May 12, 2025. The Daily Times cover of May 12, 2025, has ‘Blame game on Fuel Supplies’ and ‘UTM launches 3rd revolution’ as bold headline stories and not the stories appearing on the fake cover. Additionally, the cover price of The Daily Times of Monday, May 12, 2025, is K3000 while the fake cover is showing K2500. Even the supporting headlines on top of the fake cover are different from the supporting headlines on the real cover of the Daily Times of Monday, May 12, 2025.
