Rating Justification

iVerify Malawi verified the picture and determined that it is fake. To arrive at this verdict, iVerify Malawi looked at The Nation newspaper of October 15, 2025 and found that the story is not there. iVerify Malawi also engaged Aubrey Mchulu, the editor of The Nation newspaper, who stated that the paper did not publish such a story. Ben Phiri also said he is not aware of the existence of such wrangles within the party.
